About The Owner
Josh Fournier, the owner-operator of Fournier's Tree Service, grew up in Central Maine. Both sides of Josh's extended family have an extensive background and expertise in the logging industry and operating small businesses. Like true Mainers, they have a reputation for their strong work ethic, honesty, and commitment to performing high quality work. Josh knew at a very young age that he wanted to work outdoors, specifically in the logging and tree service industry. Growing up around his family of hardworking entrepreneurs quickly prepared him for starting his own business. Josh's friendly and approachable demeanor and unwavering commitment to his craft makes him a very capable and trustworthy service provider.
About The Business
Josh founded his tree service with 'just a couple of saws and a pick-up truck’. After leaving his job as a forwarder operator for his cousin's logging business, Josh set off on his own. He earned his state-issued arborist license, became properly insured, and began growing his customer base through his personal network. However, with a lack of climbing experience, he stuck to brush removal, trees that could be dropped whole, storm damage and firewood. He invested every dollar he could back into the business.
Josh purchased his first set of climbing gear and routinely practiced in his free time to hone his climbing skills. He soon became comfortable enough to tackle more difficult jobs. While developing his arborist skills, he has also substantially expanded his equipment lineup. Having a lineup of the proper tools has enabled Josh to cut down his time on the jobsite and keep his rates reasonable for his customers', many of whom now call Josh their go-to arborist.

A common concern of our customer's is the impact of our work on their lawns, driveways and landscapes. We take this concern seriously with careful attention to how, and where, we maneuver equipment. We also use lawn mats to prevent damage caused by moving equipment.
